Advance America Celebrates Mexican Independence Day in Midland
Advance America Texas team members proudly participated in the Diez y Seis Parade, hosted by the Hispanic Cultural Center of Midland, in celebration of Mexican Independence Day. The annual event draws families, local organizations, and businesses from across the Midland/Odessa region for a morning of cultural pride, community engagement, and festive celebration.
For Advance America, the parade was more than just a community event — it was an opportunity to connect directly with the Hispanic community and strengthen local brand awareness.
Building awareness through visibility

Advance America employees joined the colorful parade procession, walking alongside floats and community groups.
To maximize visibility during the parade, the Advance America team members had a variety of promotional items in English and Spanish. Team members were able to share information on Advance America products as well as Western Union money services.
Parade organizers expressed appreciation for Advance America’s involvement and gave an invitation to return for next year’s festivities.
Strengthening community connections

While no business partners were directly involved in the parade, the event was a valuable opportunity to plant seeds for future relationships and reinforce Advance America’s presence in the heart of the Texas Hispanic community. By engaging directly with residents in a cultural celebration, the brand demonstrated its commitment to being a supportive, visible resource.
As Advance America continues to expand its outreach and community involvement, events like the Diez y Seis Parade remain vital touchpoints for building trust, fostering inclusion, and celebrating the diverse communities the company serves.
