My Sister Has Always Been There For Me

I have an amazing sister! She has been my best friend, my other mother, my confidant, my sounding board, my therapist, and my ally from the day I was born. She has been battling Breast Cancer for nearly 10 years and has been so brave and unselfish - she is an inspiration to everyone who knows her. Her faith and her loving family have been there for her, but more often she has been there for everyone of us. This past weekend she flew in from out of state to attend my wedding even though her cancer has spread to her bones, and most recently to her brain. She is in extreme pain and is undergoing treatment daily, but she never complained. Unless you know her, you wouldn't have known she was ill. I love her and appreciate her so much. She is my angel.
