The Angel God promised

They say that God sends Angels to help you and I can say that is SO true. My Angel was Joanne. I had a failed business and lost everything, charge cards maxed out, no car insurance, cell phone was turned off, and an overdrawn checking account and $110 in my pocket. As I am coming home from work the motor in my car blew up. Having my car towed cost me $100.

I was done, I did not want to live anymore and all that was on my mind was “how am I going to do it?” I am a single Dad that is gay, and I have two children. I kept thinking how everyone would be better off without me. Then Joanne and I whom I met on the Internet, back in Feb ‘08, have been very best friends from day one. She called me that day, and knew I was crying, and from that point on, she called me every hour, checking on me, pushing me to not give up. She called my family; she even paid some of my bills. We have only met once; Joanne flew from FL to Delaware to see me. I thank you God for the Angel you sent to save my life. Things are still tough, but Joanne never lets me get down, and things are getting a little better each day. God should send an Angel like Joanne to everyone who needs one. Thank you Joanne, thank you. I hope some day I can repay her, although I’m not sure how. How do you pay someone back who saved your life? With her love, caring, and understanding way, I am here to see my children grow up. Without her I would not be here to write this, and miss the wonderful life God has given me.
