MY HERO
To give you a brief background to my story, my husband Michael "Maddog" was wrongfully terminated in 11/99. We managed to secure a Superior Court Judgment against the former employer. This incident pushed my husband over the edge, but luckily he was strong enough, mentally and physically, to pull himself out of it and care for our two little girls who were 8 and 5 at the time while I continued to work. Since 11/99, my husband has been a full-time Mr. Mom. Then in 4/04 we had a wonderful surprise...our son Mitchell was born. Currently, my husband is a wrestling coach in CA. He runs our now two teenage daughters to their activities, while caring for our 4yr old son. He takes care of the household - cleaning, washing clothes, doing the grocery shopping, and all maintenance on the house while maintaining a strict budget so we can survive on one income. Michael's outlet from being a full-time Mr. Mom is taking a ride on his hog and is a fantastic drummer. My husband, Michael is truly my hero. Without his love, compassion and strength for family, we would not have been able to survive such an economic roller coaster. Please consider my story so others who may be in similar situations will know family is all that matters, and that strength, compassion and love will see you through the rough times. I know my husband's only wish is to be able to assist our family financially, although we sacrifice by having him stay with the kids while keeping within a stringent budget. Your consideration would make a world of difference for our family. Thank you for taking the time to read my personal story.
