My Dad

The person I know that's there for me is my dad. When I was 1 or so my mother and father divorced.. My mother raised me throughout my life. I kept in contact with my dad by phone and when I was in jr high and high school i visited him in Florida. My mother passed away 7 yrs ago and thats when my dad and I became close. My dad does whatever he can for me and I wish I could do the same for him. The best thing I believe about my dad is that he is a good listener.. I know I can call him and talk to him or even just vent out to him and he will listen. He gives me advice but doesn't tell me what to do. He tells me I have to make that choice. I know most parents will say you must do this or you must do it that way. No, my dad would tell me things like if I were in that situation I would... He alway says that I have to make that choice.. I'm glad my dad does that. I feel more confident in myself. He's the best dad I could ask for. If he ever needed me I would be there for him. That is who I know is there for me!
