MY HERO
To give you a brief background to my story, my husband Michael "Maddog" was wrongfully terminated in 11/99. We managed to secure a Superior Court Judgment against the former employer. This incident pushed my husband over the edge, but luckily he was strong enough, mentally and physically, to pull himself out of it and care for our two little girls who were 8 and 5 at the time while I continued to work. Since 11/99, my husband has been a full-time Mr. Mom. Then in 4/04 we had a wonderful

Thanks for always listening
I met my friend Brenda in 2005 when I was asked to return to work at a job I had left a few years earlier. She was soon asked to be the school administrator and I immediately saw that she cared as deeply about kids as I did and so the bond between us grew. She is older than I am, but that never kept the friendship from deepening. She listented and still listens to me talk about anything and everything and is rational when I am not. I would like to think I have been even half the friend she

A Mother's Blessing
An obvious choice of who is there for me has to be my mother, Sheila. It isn’t a matter of just one incident that she was a vital help in my life, but it is constant. I could list millions of incidents since birth, but I will only speak about the present. I am 25 years old, married and the mother of a beautiful 7 month old daughter. Unfortunately, we live in an age where pedophiles and child molesters exist and my worst fear after having my daughter, is her being harmed in that way. During

True Friend and Sister
In January 2007 I lost my mother-in-law and when I called my sister
Vickie she was the first one there asking what she could do to help.
In April 2007 I lost my husband and when I called my sister and her
husband they were there at the hospital when the rescue squad and I

My Greatest Inspiration
Greetings, I am Phillip , a twenty-five year old of Florida. I was born in Florida along with my older brother and raised by a single parent, my mother. The person that has helped me when it really matters is my mom, Mrs. Rozetta. She is my greatest inspiration because through-out my life, she has been a hard working family provider, dedicated mother, woman of God and last but not least, she has always been there for me when it matters most.
While growing up, I always thought that my mother

TRUE STORY
I'm currently going through a divorce and Mrs. Gloria has been the ideal support system that I need when it came to picking up my daughter from school to preparing a meal for my daughter when I had late nights at work and school. She has also been like a counselor as I’m ending a 5 year marriage. Going through this isn’t easy but her positive affirmations and terms of endearment seem to make it all the while tolerable. The generous acts she performs not only for me but so many others (my

Upbeat Perspective
I am out of work on disability. I broke my right wrist. I haven't worked a day since February. I've had two surgeries to repair the wrist. Bills are piling up and I still can't work.
Regina is my older sister. She's gotten me through the tough times by letting me cry on her shoulder. She's been encouraging and helpful by keeping me optimistic about the entire ordeal. She truly keeps me going by being positive and upbeat. She's even helped me help my husband be more positive and upbeat.
I've
