A best friends never ending love.

My best friend Suzanne was there for me when my mom passed away when I was 16. She has been there for me through the passing of my great grandma and my grandma also. My husbands work is on strike right now and she calls me just to see if there is anything we need. She has her kids check to see if we are low on groceries and if we are she will go get us some. She is always there to watch my kids, we have 6, no matter what. I know that I can always depend on her, she has been my comfort, best

Who knew he'd be my Hero

My senior year of college I became pregnant with my almost two year old son. I was terrified to tell my dad because I was afraid to disappoint him. I dropped out in my last semester. My dad not only supported me financially and emotinally while I was pregnant but he also acted as a babysitter after my son was born so I could afford to go to work. He took my little boy to work with him so I could pay my bills. My dad is a struggling real estate agent living in today's market. No money

My Grandma

I have been going through some financial problems for a few months now. My dad has gone blind and my mother is disabled. They have no income at all. I have been helping them the best that I can with their bills and now I'm at the point where I need the help to make ends meet. That's where my grandmother comes in. She is a God-send. She helps me when she can with no questions asked. I tell her that I can't rely on her to help me everytime and she tells me to not worry about it, but I do because

The Man Who Can Handle Anything

My husband is a strong man both physically and emotionally. When we first started dating he was going through a separation from his first wife. They had married very young and had a daughter. As with a lot of young marriages they had problems. Late in their marriage his first wife had some heart problems and underwent a heart transplant in her early twenties. Both were still very young and with a small child it was hard. They were having marital issues as well as her health issues to deal

I never thought I could be so loved.

Josh has been amazing to me. I have two diseases and he has been my knight in shining armor. He does the dishes, the laundry, helps me in the shower, takes care of the kids, and puts everything he needs to do behind him to help me. He makes me feel safe and loved like never before after my brain surgery.

My administrator

Debbie is the administrator at our school. Through her care and concern for her students and staff, she has created a school that parents and children never want to leave. Our school is based on attendance centers, so we only have K-2 at our building. When the students move on to 2nd grade they didn't want to leave our building. Most often, a lot of those students come back to be aides at our school when they are in high school. She has created a school that cares!

Foster Child.

I have always wanted to be a foster parent, and until I married my current husband could not. I asked him and he agreed, but no special needs, no babies, and no teens. So I agreed. Everything went ok the first 2 years, then Alexis came along. They called me and told me they have a 5 year old but failed to tell me she was special needs. The first night we had her she made noises like an animal and would not sleep until I put her in a baby bed. My husband was not happy at all. She had been

My Guardian Angel

My mother in law is the most wonderful person I know. Since my husband got injured almost 7 years ago and has been unable to work, she has been there to help us when we have needed it the most. From buying us groceries, helping to pay our bills, giving us gas money, taking myself, my husband and my children to appointments or events, and she lives in the next town over. She has even taken my children or picked them up from school while I'm at work, when my husband is unable to move due to

A True Gem

I have the great blessing of knowing a true ANGEL! My best friend that I have known since grade school. Kim has always been a wonderful supporter. I am a single mom and I rely on Kim for a sitter, car service, counselor, banker, educator, and so much more. If I could only repay her a small portion of what she has given to me and my family. It is my dream to floor her with something of this magnitude, Kim lost her job of 16+ years, do to downsizing. She was devastated. It was a terrible time

An Amazing Friend

My friend Wanda is an amazingly kind woman! I broke my wrist, was in a cast, and was afraid to drive. I refused to ask someone to drive me 40 minutes to and from work. My friend & coworker Wanda changed her daily work shift for 3 weeks to pick me up at my home and drive me to and from work. She offered to drop my children at their practices and take them where they needed to go. I didn't have to worry about anything. I owe Wanda so very much for what she has done and her kindness!
