Life

Sometimes life happens, It hits you right in the face when you least expect it. I've had some hard times in my life, we all have. I have had different people come and go in my life, all of them helping me in some unique way. I've had my heart broken only by one person, I loved him. He helped me to be stronger. My best friend Liz, we went to the same high school and matured together. We both now have families of our own and are still in touch. She helped to open up and to love again and helpedme

Family By Chance

My aunt and uncle have always been there for me. I have been so close to them physically and emotionally all my life. Until recently they have always been within a 20 minute drive from me and then they moved to Hawaii, rough I know. But even being separated by an ocean they are still there for me. They have children of their own and yet their home has always been open to me and also to foster children that they once had. They have hearts made of gold and can make even my darkest hour seem bright.

Morgan's Song

This may be one of the more unusual stories you read but one of my greatest heros is my 14 year old son, Morgan. First off, from the day he was born, if there is such a thing as the perfect child, he is as close as you can get. Never cried or complained, even when he was sick, always well behaved, well mannered, respectful. He has grown into a very mature and responsible young man and he is always there for his mother and me. He's an A/B student in school (could be straight A's if he tried a

My Life Saver

Gilberto is a very special person in my life who has raised me with respect, knowledge and wisdom to set my goals and dreams to become a successful woman. I have followed his lead and I am proud to say he has given me a lot of good advice to save money. He has been there for me to support my decisions and given me 100 percent of his undivided attention when I just needed someone to talk to or just lend me a shoulder to cry.

We have gone through the loss of his mother and he was so strong

My Hero

My Grandfather is the greatest man in this world to me. He has sheltered me since I was 2 years old because my parents didn't have the time or the want to do so. He has told me several times that he would take his last breath for me and I believe that he would do that. I have never gone without because of this man and I thank God for him every single day that I am lucky enough to have him in my life. He has guided me through the troubled times and the good times, helping me with everything even

My Guardian Angel

Gloria is my guardian angel. This woman from the first day I met her has always striven to make me smile. I know the first time I felt this way about her was that I was having just a really bad time, work was hectic, family life was in the dumps, and she came in and just made my day. She always finds a way to turn my frown upside down. Then one day my car broke down in the parking lot of my office. It was around 8 pm. I was a little scared because it is so dark out there. But I thought of Gloria.

A Dad's Love.....

When I was 2 years old my parents took me camping at Silver Falls for my first camping trip ever. The first night my parents decided it was my bed time, so they put me in the tent for the night. As my parents were relaxing by the fire my mom decided to come check on me. As my mom screamed my dad came running into the tent. That's when they found me turned over in the sleeping bag. I wasn't breathing, my heart had stopped. My dad was an ex-firefighter so he knew what he had to do. That night

Honest Friend

Leesa is a friend that I had met through my boyfriend, now my fiance, and she is a real honest pure friend. She has helped me out through my mother recovering from lung cancer when I needed a friend to lean on and she has also helped me through personal relationship problems. She was there when noone else was to listen, give advice, let me cry and vent all my feelings to. If it wasn't for her I don't think I could of made it through my mother getting real sick and through her recovery, nor

My Mother-in-Law

My mother-in-law is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. She has been a school teacher for 35 years and will go out of her way to listen and help with any problem you may have. She has helped me and my husband through everything that has come our way. In a way I guess you can say we owe her everything for just being there for us. She is also the greatest grandmother to our son and her other 2 grandchildren. I think she is one of the best mothers-in-law you could ever ask for.

Man of Many Trades

My dad is a man of many trades. He is a father, friend, husband, granddad and an inspiration to many.He has been working on the farm every since he was 13 yrs old and has never never been layed off for any reason and he is now 56 yrs old.He is always there to lend a helping hand ,even if it means getting out of bed at two in the morning to bring his daughter gas or if it to help a neighbor move.He does not complain ,he is a very humble person, with an angelic personality, and i can't think of anyone who deserves this more than he does.
