Little Sister- Always There
Even though I am the older sister, it is my little sister who has been here for me whenever I needed her. She was the one who rushed to take me to the hospital 2 hours away where my children were after being in a car accident with their step father on their way home, when a drunk driver ran them off the road. It was my sister who took lunch money to my kids at school when I forgot and was at work an hour away. It was my sister who came running when a relationship turned nasty and stood by my

Stand Strong!!!
I wanted to say that my dad is someone who has always been there for me. When we were kids, he always taught us how to stand strong and take care of ourselves. But if we ever stumbled or fell, he would pick us up and help us back on our feet. He is always willing to help out (if possible). It doesn't matter if it's for the smallest thing from babysitting to the biggest thing of financial help. If he's able to do it, he may gripe for a second, but that's just him. He wants us to stand strong

My second mother
I have two moms, my birth mother who is an amazing person who has been through tremendous hardships, and my mother-in-law.
My mother-in-law, Lynn, is a gem of a woman. I have known her for 15 years and have been married to her son for 10 years. When my husband proposed, we knew we would be responsible paying for the wedding. My mother is on a limited budget and I did not want to her to bear that financial hardship. Lynn told me that she and my father-in-law would pay for the wedding. The entire

A Rock That Never Breaks
My mother is the most amazing person in my life. She has always stood next to me in every situation. We have been through some hard times and some great experiences. Most recently our relationship has been put to the test. I have her to thank for my strength and determination. My mom has definitely help shape me to be the woman I am today. She has the biggest heart and always puts herself last, to make sure everyone she cares about is ok. I know that she has sacrificed a lot over the

Dang City Folk
A few years ago my husband and I purchased a home in a rural area. A beautiful, wooded neighborhood nestled on top of a hill. The transition from the city to the country isn't as easy as one might think. We met our first neighbor, Mark. When my A/C wouldn't work he came over, when we were trying to burn leaves he came over. He'd mutter, "Dang, city folk..." but was always so willing to help. Then last winter we found out just how "citified" we were and how awesome our neighbor is! Oklahoma

My Best Friend
I really don't know where to begin. My Abby is the best friend in the world. She is there for me and my whole family no matter what. I can call her for help and she will drop everything to come help. My kids will go to her for help if the can't get me, because they know she is there for them. My daughter was faced with having to lose a dog that she loved dearly because her living situation changed in a way that she was not able to keep the dog. Instead of letting her take the dog to the

''MY ALL--MY EVERYTHING'
My husband and I married at a really young age. "Babies having babies" is what everyone said, and how true it was. Twenty nine years later our love is stronger and more powerful than ever. He has my coffee waiting when I wake up and always says good morning beautiful, no matter how bad I look. We always kiss and say I love you when we go to bed every night. He is my rock and the glue that keeps me together. He always has an ear to listen to me and I can share anything and everything with him.

My mother is my rock
My mother has always been there for me, even when I didn't think that I needed her and that I could handle whatever it was on my own. She has always been my voice of reason. She always gives great advice and helps me through the rough decisions I have had to make in my life. She has been there to help me financially and emotionally even when her life was going through rougher times. She always puts her kids and her grandkids first. She is a wonderful role model. And even when I know I have disappointed

She Doesn't Understand Me but That's Ok
I am a very complex person. There have been many experiences in my short lifetime of twenty two years that have molded me into the individual that I am today. Many friends have come and gone in my life, by my own doing, im sure, except for a young lady named Briana. We are complete opposites in every way, shape, and form. Looking at the two of as physically as well as seeing our individual lifestyles, the typical person would never imagine us being close friends. Briana is very inspirational

My Rainy Day Angel
I have a very blessed life. A year and a half ago, I couldn't see my blessings as I should have. I was going through the hardest time I can remember so far and had just moved back to my hometown. I was financially destitute and had been having incredible anxiety almost constantly. I wasn't sleeping or eating right and felt as though there was no hope. Most of my old friends had left town and I had very few people around me. I craved the companionship of friends so badly I would lay in bed all
